Max's Surgery- July 17, 2008

As most of you know Max had surgery to get a second cochlear implant on his other ear.  It was a big decision!  It has been exactly 10 years since he got his first one and the same surgeon was able to perform the surgery!  Although, we know it will benefit him as he gets older it sure was hard to do at 13 years old.  He was so brave and we could not wait for that sweet smile to return!  He continues to teach us all how to endure to the end as we go to Oakland (2 hours away) to turn it on and get the sound just right.  What a blessing he is to us and our family!
