Two weeks ago my grandfather, Dee Powell passed away at the age of 94. He was an amazing man as well as an example to all of us of kindness and patience. He will be greatly missed. We went down to Los Alamitos, CA for the funeral. On Sunday we also were able to bless our sweet new addition to the Smith/Barney family. Talmadge William Smith. It was a special time as Talmadge is named after both his great grandfathers as well as my father. It was great to spend time with our family and to see everyone!

So, sorry to hear that Papa died. But how wonderful to be able to celebrate birth of little Talmadge. He is a doll and what a great name.
Hi Jennifer: This is Joy, Adrienne's sis-in-law. We are in Orlando visiting them and Ade showed me your blog. Very cute. I can't believe how old your kids are getting! --Joy (Erick's sister---all he is he owes to ME!)
